To run the marketplace: verify your email, show available providers on the map, connect customers and providers, and keep the service working and safe.
Other users never see your exact location. On the map you appear as an approximate area of about one mile. Your precise location is shared only if you personally choose to share it with a specific customer for a specific job.
Other users can see your public profile (name, what you offer, approximate area, rating, and the contact methods you provide). We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers to operate ROLV — for example Cloudflare (hosting and database) and Google (sending email) — who process data on our behalf.
We send a code to confirm your email address. These are transactional messages; if you don't see one, check your spam folder.
You can edit your profile any time, and you can delete your profile from the in-app menu, which removes your profile and associated reviews from the live service. You can also turn off location permission in your device settings (you won't be able to appear on the map while it's off).
ROLV is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
